Updating a previous report, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is reporting that Brewers' slugger Ryan Braun is expected to be back in the lineup on Friday after leaving Wednesday's game in the eighth inning due to back tightness. Brewers' assistant general manager Gord Ash told the paper that the team's head trainer said he "didn't think it was anything serious."

Our View: Despite suffering from back pain nearly all season, Braun has managed to start all but three games for the team. It looks as if his removal last night was just precautionary, so he should be good to go tomorrow night when the team returns to action.

Still, Braun has played through many injuries before, and he will more than likely play Tuesday. He is a safe start unless otherwise noted.
