Rodrigo Lopez was hit with his first loss of the season on Thursday as the Phillies fell to the Giants by a score of 7-2. Lopez went four innings and allowed seven runs (three earned) on eight hits while walking two and striking out two.
Our View: Lopez is likely heading out of the rotation after the acquisition of Cliff Lee, and he didn't do anything tonight to make a case for himself. He will lose most, if not all, of his fantasy value if and when he is removed from the rotation, so fantasy owners should be prepared to find another option.
