Our View: That's three straight impressive Harden starts after the righty struggled for most of June and early July. He's no longer walking so many batters, and giving himself and the Cubs a much better chance to win.

Other than that it was a vintage performance from the smoke-throwing righty, who has given up just eight hits and two earned runs over his last three starts, spanning 19 innings. Hes 2-0 in that span and has fanned 21. With a nasty 10.06 K/9 mark and just 38 walks in 93 innings, Harden has shown hes still got it despite an underwhelming 4.55 ERA. Owners should throw him with confidence when he takes the hill again on July 31 in Florida.

Harden has remained relatively healthy this year, but other than compiling a high strikeout rate, he hasn't provided the kind of overpowering numbers owners have come to expect. He heads into the All-Star break with a 5-6 record, a 5.47 ERA and an 83/36 K/BB ratio in 74 innings.

Analysis: Harden followed one of his best starts of the season -- a seven-inning, nine-strikeout gem of a win against Pittsburgh -- with one of his worst. Health issues, not concerns of stuff or talent, are still the sole reason for owners to worry about Harden, and they shouldn't read too much into this off night.
