Ryan Spilborghs went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 4-2 loss at the Dodgers. He hit a double and a two-run homer off Randy Wolf.

Our View: Spilborghs ended a 16-game drought without a homer, and has six for the season. He only had one hit over his last nine at-bats heading into tonight's game as well.

Our View: Wolf pitched well tonight, but was forced to take a no-decision rather than a win as the game took 13 innings to decide. He is winless over his last six starts, and allowed five or more earned runs three times over the span.

Randy Wolf struck out four and allowed two earned runs on four hits and a walk over six innings in a no-decision against Colorado on Monday.

Analysis: Even when Wolf is unlucky, he's pretty good. While it would've been nice to get a win, Wolf looked solid against a very hot Rockies team and bounced back nicely from a five-run, three-homer pasting from the White Sox in his previous start. Wolf's WHIP is down to 1.18, and he's been one of the true pleasant surprises of the fantasy season thus far. He'll hope for a similarly solid showing and somewhat better luck when he starts in San Diego on July 5.

It's confounding that he actually pitched better in his prior start against a good-hitting team -- the Rangers -- in their homer-friendly ballpark. Still, Wolf pitched well and is a must-start June 24 against the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.

Our View: Wolf has only three wins in 2009 because of his tendency to not go very deep into games, but he has still been a solid pickup for the Dodgers. He is sporting a 3.29 ERA and very solid 1.15 WHIP in 93 innings of work.

The veteran lefty was one of fantasy's biggest bargains over the first two months, but he's surrendered 11 earned runs in 12 1/3 frames over his last two starts. Even though he's been strong on the road (2.58 ERA), Wolf is a risky start against a potent Rangers lineup in Arlington on June 14.

Our View: Wolf has been very good this season despite his terrible outing on Sunday. His ERA is still a very respectable 3.62 and he looks to be having his best season since 2002. June has been rough for him though after putting up a 2.35 ERA in May.

News: Randy Wolf allowed a grand slam to Justin Upton and left trailing 5-1 Tuesday against the Diamondbacks after failing to outduel Dan Haren, but got off the hook for the loss as Los Angeles rallied for a 6-5 win. Brad Ausmus started behind the plate for the Dodgers, one night after Russell Martin had to contend with a franchise record-tying five wild pitches thrown by relievers Cory Wade and Brent Leach. Martin caught Wolf in all of his 11 previous starts, and the switch stood out after the left-hander retired only five of his first 12 batters and gave up five runs. Facing a starting lineup consisting entirely of right-handed bats -- including switch-hitters Felipe Lopez and Augie Ojeda -- Wolf found himself in a bases-loaded, no out situation after just nine pitches. The Diamondbacks got only one run out of it, as Lopez scored on a groundout by Mark Reynolds. But in the second inning, Upton drove an 0-1 pitch into the left field pavilion with two out for his first career grand slam.
