Wells is worth starting in all leagues, even in his next turn at hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark against the Reds on August 3.

Though it’s hard to imagine him sustaining a 2.43 ERA, the fact that he boasts a 45/14 K/BB ratio suggests he’ll still provide plenty of bang for your buck. Wells faces a tougher opponent next time out in red-hot Jair Jurrjens and the Braves.
