Thr Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Phil Dumatrait will not make his scheduled start on Monday since he was used in relief last night. The team will likely recall a pitcher from the minors to make the start.
Our View: Dumatrait was scheduled to pitch one of the games in the Pirates' double-header, but it looks like the team will instead go with either Virgil Vasquez or Eric Hacker. It looks like Dumatrait will pitch predominantly out of the bullpen for the rest of the season, so no need to give him a look unless he moves into the rotation at some point. Even then, probably not worth it.
