Micah Owings was not sharp against Milwaukee on Sunday, falling to 3-6 after giving up five runs off eight hits and and three runs while striking out five in 5.2 innings.
Our View: There's no denying Owings' fine athleticism or skills as a hitter, but he's simply been too unreliable thus far to merit any consideration as a fantasy starter.

Owings hasn't gotten on track after tossing a pair of earned run outings from May 12-16. The righty has been responsible for 13 runs in 13 2/3 frames over his last three starts, boosting his ERA to shaky 5.10. Combine that with a 1.59 WHIP, and it's apparent Owings' pitching averages are damaging in fantasy play. He'll face the Cubs on June 5 at home.
