Scott Richmond took the loss on Tuesday night to the Rays after allowing three earned runs -- all on solo homers -- on six hits and five walks with seven strikeouts over seven innings.
Analysis: After a tough mid-June stretch in which the 25-year-old right-hander gave up seven earned runs over 10 2/3 innings, Garza closed out the month with a flourish, tossing 15 innings of two-run ball over his last two starts. Garza will look to continue his run of success against the Blue Jays on July 7. In five starts against the Jays in 2008, Garza posted a sparkling 0.47 ERA, averaged almost 7 2/3 innings per start and did not allow a home run.

Our View: Garza now has a winning record at 6-5, and he trims his ERA to 3.45. He has won in back-to-back starts, and closes out June with a solid 2.93 ERA over five outings. He shall remain active in fantasy lineups for his next turn in the Rays' rotation.
