News: Bronson Arroyo helped himself again Sunday with his big double off San Francisco starter Matt Cain in the fifth. "We had a chance to get out of that, but I made a bad pitch to Bronson," Cain said. "I have no one but myself to blame. That was the turning point." Cain (8-11) allowed five runs and eight hits in five innings. He tied a season high by issuing five walks, and Giants pitchers also tied a season mark with nine walks overall. Matt Cain did not pitch well for San Francisco, going only five innings and walking five while surrendering five earned runs in the Giants 9-3 loss to the Reds.Cain had thrown fairly well in August, and his ERA is still a respectable 3.69, but his lack of wins and relative wildness are beginning to hurt. He walked at least four batters in every August outing except one.
