Our View: Take the words for what they're worth, as their nothing more than speculation, though Torre has proven that he just kind of knows his stuff when it comes to baseball over his multi-decade managing career. Given that he'll only get a half week of games in anyways, it'd be best to keep Manny out of your active lineup next week and wait until you have a few games to go off of before deciding whether or not to play him the following week.

Dodgers slugger Manny Ramirez made his first public comments on Tuesday since being suspended for 50 games on May 7 for violating the league's anti-drug policy according to the Los Angeles Times.

Our View: Manny used the typical vagaries most players do when describing their steroid incidents, saying it was "in the past" and that he wanted to "move on." But he also said he wanted to make his suspension up to the fans by taking his game and the Dodgers season to "another level." A scary thought for the rest of the NL West, and a very comforting one to Manny's fantasy owners. Maybe he'll be making his suspension up to them as well.
