Tony Gwynn went 1-for-5 with a solo homer off Kevin Millwood in tonight's 12-2 loss at Texas.
Our View: The Padres only mustered four hits in the game, and stranded 15 men on base. Gwynn blasted his first homer of the season, and is hitting .329 over 82 at-bats in June. He is worth a look for NL-only leagues if you need help in your roto-outfield.

Kevin Millwood only surrendered two earned runs on four hits over six innings in Friday's 12-2 win over the Padres at Rangers Ballpark. He had three walks and five strikeouts.
Our View: It was another strong outing for Millwood other than the three free passes. He leads the Rangers with eight wins, a 2.64 ERA and 70 strikeouts.

News: Rangers SP Kevin Millwood, who was a hard-luck loser in his last start, bounced back for his fourth win in five starts Friday against the Padres. He struggled a bit early, giving up a leadoff homer to Tony K. Gwynn and throwing 68 pitches through the first three innings, but he made it through six innings, allowing two runs over 113 pitches. He also gave up four hits, issuing three walks and recording five strikeouts. "Early in the game, my mechanics were a little off. I just wasn't throwing the ball where I wanted to enough, and it just added up," Millwood said. "My stuff tonight was probably the worst I've had all year. ... It feels good to battle through it." In his five June starts, Millwood is 4-1 with a 1.30 ERA. [...]
