The Cincinnati Enquirer's John Fay reports that Cincinnati Reds SP Johnny Cueto will not be allowed to pitch in winter ball because he threw more than 170 innings this season, kicking an "extreme fatigue" clause in.

Cueto won for the second time in three starts to even his record after going just 9-14 in 2008. Still, Cueto struggled for much of '09, recording a 4.41 ERA, a 1.36 WHIP and fanning a just 132 batters in 171 1/3 innings.

Votto homered and drove in three runs and Rolen homered as the Reds took advantage of Zach Duke's control problems for an 8-4 win over the Pirates on Saturday night.
