Reports indicate Turner Broadcasting is close to signing injured Braves hurler John Smoltz to come in and work as an on-air analyst during the playoffs this fall, according to the SportsBusiness Daily.Terms of the potential deal have not been disclosed, but it sound like baseball fans could enjoy Smoltz's insights on TBS as the playoffs take form.
