John Lannan, who went 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA this spring, was optioned to Triple-A Columbus, notes the Washington Post.Lannan would be the first pitcher called up if the team needs a replacement, which is possible with the injured Shawn Hill (forearm) scheduled to be in the rotation sooner than later.
