News: Chicago SP John Danks (8-7) allowed two earned runs -- four total -- and six hits over seven innings after missing his last start due to a finger blister, but that wasn't enough to keep the Sox from their 12th loss in the last 14 games at Minnesota's soon-to-be-vacated dome on Monday night. John Danks, who had missed his previous starts with blisters on his left index finger, looked alright in his return to the mound against Minnesota on Monday, giving up two earned runs (four total) off six hits and two walks with three strikeouts in seven innings.
Our View: Danks was tagged with the loss and dropped to 8-7 as a result, but it was still nice to see him get through seven innings of decent work after he'd missed his previous outing and failed to make it through the sixth his prior two.
