John Danks was not his sharpest against Kansas City on Sunday, picking up a no decision after allowing four runs off nine hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 5.1 innings.
Our View: Danks started off the season great but has been very shaky since. He remains a must-own due to his potentially dominant stuff, but he should continue to provide the occasional headache throughout the season.

News: White Sox SP John Danks went 5 1/3 innings and gave up four runs on nine hits against the Royals in a no decision on Sunday. He struck out five and walked two as his ERA ballooned to 4.80 on the season. Danks had allowed only one earned run in 16 consecutive innings in Kansas City until Mark Teahen and Miguel Olivo singled and David DeJesus hit a two-run double in the second. DeJesus scored when shortstop Alexei Ramirez got turned around and appeared to lose Mitch Maier's pop RBI double in the sun. [...]

The tough start falls in line with how Danks has performed on the road in '09. Even though he's been solid with a 3.32 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP at his hitter-friendly home ballpark -- U.S. Cellular Field -- Danks has posted a 5.87 ERA and a 1.61 WHIP away from Chicago's Southside.
