Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi, of FOXSports.com, report the Baltimore Orioles are unlikely to trade SP Jeremy Guthrie unless they are overwhelmed by an offer.

No longer able to catch AL hitters by surprise, Guthrie quickly found himself floundering on the waiver wire in most leagues before finishing the season losing more games than any big league pitcher. Add a declining strikeout rate, and the chances of any major bounceback effort seem unlikely.

Jeremy Guthrie held the Blue Jays to four runs on nine hits and two walks over seven innings on Sunday, but did not earn a decision as the O's won it 5-4 with a run in the 11th.
Our View: 2009 represented a disappointing follow up to two pretty good seasons for Guthrie. After posting ERA totals of 3.70 and 3.63 in 2007 and 2008 respectively he finished this year with a depressing 5.04 mark.
