James Shields was very good on Friday night. He surrendered just two runs on seven hits and a walk over seven innings and evened his record at 4-4 with a 5-3 win over the Twins.
Our View: Shields has been fairly consistent this season, which is exactly what the Rays need with their shocking pitching woes in 2009. Shields owns a 3.53 ERA and is a solid option in mixed leagues.
