Jack Taschner was acquired by Philadelphia on Friday in exchange for catcher Ronny Paulino, according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer.
Our View: There's no reason to know Taschner in fantasy circles. The 30-year-old lefty reliever went 3-2 with a 4.88 ERA in a career-high 67 innings last season and owns a 5.01 ERA and 1.57 WHIP over his four-year career.

Ronny Paulino was dealt twice on Friday, first from Philadelphia to San Francisco for left-handed pitcher Jack Taschner, and later from the Giants to the Marlins for right-handed pitcher Hector Correa, according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer.
Our View: Overall, the end result will give Paulino a much better opportunity to play. In Philadelphia, he was beaten out by Chris Coste for the backup role at catcher, and the Phillies also have a young prospect in Lou Marson that's probably just a year or so away from contributing in the big leagues. In Florida, on the other hand, Paulino will backup the lefty John Baker and probably see relatively consistent playing time when the Marlins face a left-handed pitcher. Still, it'd take either an injury or major struggles from Baker before Paulino received any fantasy value.
