Ken Gurnick, of MLB.com, reports Los Angeles Dodgers RP Hong-Chih Kuo (elbow) threw a scoreless inning with Single-A Inland Empire Tuesday, July 21, the first time he has pitched on consecutive days this year. "If he throws well, he'll get two days off and pitch again Friday, then we'll see," manager Joe Torre said. "He'll probably go on the next trip."

According to the LA Daily News, Hong-Chih Kuo could return to the Dodgers as early as next week.

Our View: Kuo, recovering from an elbow strain in Single-A, pitched on consecutive nights for the first time Tuesday. He is scheduled to get two days off and then pitch again Friday. Barring any setbacks he will return to the big league club next week.
