Eric Milton has been transferred from the 15 to the 60-day DL, according to TSN.
Our View: He underwent lower-back surgery last week to remove a disk herniation, and is out of the season. He is expected to need around three months of recovery time.

Dodgers transferred LHP Eric Milton to the 60-day disabled list. Milton underwent a successful microdiskectomy on his lower back last Tuesday. He won't be able to resume baseball-related activities for at least another two months, but should be ready by spring training of 2010. Milton was a nice comeback story for the Dodgers this season, going 2-1 with a 3.80 ERA and 20/6 K/BB ratio in 23 2/3 innings, spanning five starts.
