Hinske has been an absolute beast for the Bombers in his relatively short time with the club. After leaving the yard just once in 106 at-bats with the Pirates, Hinske has gone deep five times in just 21 trips to the plate for the Yanks. It'd take a major injury for the versatile veteran to make a real impact, but with the way he's going, he might be worth a shot in deeper AL-only leagues anyway.

Nick Swisher hit a huge ninth inning home run to tie the game for the Yankees on Thursday, but the White Sox countered in the bottom of the inning to walk away with the 3-2 win. Swisher was 1-for-4 on the game with the solo shot.

Our View: Swisher's homer tied the game in the top of the inning, but the bullpen couldn't kee the Sox off the board in the bottom. Swisher still looks to be in a platoon situation with Eric Hinske in the outfield, but he is a decent offensive threat when he plays.

Eric Hinske made a splash in his Yankees' debut on Monday, as he managed to go 2-for-4 with a solo home run. New York lost the game to the Blue Jays by a score of 7-6.

Our View: Welcome to the Bronx, Mr. Hinske. He powered a ball into deep right field in the bottom of the fifth off starter Ricky Romero, ending the rookies' scoreless innings streak at 24. The Yanks brought Hinske in to hit, and that's exactly what he did today. You still shouldn't expect much in the way of fantasy value, however.

Analysis: With Johnny Damon and Hideki Matsui each getting days off, Brett Gardner started in center and Melky Cabrera played left. Hinske will likely see spot duty at the infield and outfield corners the rest of the way. He hit .255 with a home run and 11 RBIs in 106 at-bats for the Pirates this season before being acquired by New York on June 30.

Our View: Hinske hasn't done much at the plate so far this season, so it will be interesting to see if a new team and a better lineup will improve his numbers. Our View: Tex is fresh off getting the nod to start for the All-Star team, but he will not be starting for the Yankees today. There is still time to replace him if you have another option, but make sure you get him back in tomorrow.
