MLB | Oliver will not retire
Lyle Spencer, of MLB.com, reports free-agent RP Darren Oliver (Angels) plans to pitch in 2010 and maybe even longer, according to his agent, Mike McCann. Oliver will be a Type A free agent, which means he will bring back two compensation draft picks if he is offered arbitration and is signed by another team.

The Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett reports Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim general manager Tony Reagins said RP Darren Oliver told him he was interested in re-signing for next season. Reagins said Oliver wasn't 100 percent sure he would play next season, though.
