Dallas Braden was tagged for four runs (two earned) on five hits over 5.1 innings in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Rockies at McAfee Coliseum. He had two walks and two strikeouts.
Our View: Braden was dealt a loss due to poor run support from his teammates, and he falls to 5-7 for the season - despite a 3.26 ERA. He has allowed two or less earned runs in each of his five starts this month, but only collected one win over the span. His fantasy stock would be higher if he played for a better team than the struggling Athletics.

Athletics transferred LHP Dallas Braden from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. Braden's left foot was "traumatized" by a rash in late August and he'll need the next few months for recovery. The 25-year-old southpaw finished the 2009 season with a 3.89 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 22 starts.
