Marc Topkin, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports the Tampa
Marc Topkin, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports the Tampa Bay Rays did not move their pitching rubber to benefit SP James Shields in the ALCS, according to major league baseball officials. Boston Red Sox SP Daisuke Matsuzaka claimed that the Rays shifted the rubber to benefit Shields in the ALCS. However, MLB officials checked the mound and found nothing to back Matsuzaka's claim.
