MLB.com is reporting that Tigers' coach Jim Leyland plans to play Curtis Granderson despite his recent struggles. Granderson is likely to be in the lineup nearly every day for the rest of the season.

Our View: Leyland makes the point the Granderson is too talented to sit on the bench, and nobody would deny his talent. He has to heat up eventually, and he can carry a fantasy squad when he does. For now, it would be wise to start another outfielder while Granderson's struggles persist.
