Clayton Richard won his second straight game on Friday with seven innings of two-run ball. He limited the Royals to just six hits and a walk while striking out seven.
Our View: Richard has been very good since moving to the starting rotation. His first start was a rocky one, but his last three have been nothing short of fantastic. He's worth a look in deeper leagues and if he keeps pitching like this, everyone will notice.

Make that two victories in a row for the lefty, who's made only four starts. After fielding a porous 5/6 K/BB ratio in 10 1/3 innings in his first pair of starts, Richard has an outstanding 15/4 ratio over 13 innings in his two wins. He has a great chance at a third straight win when he opposes an uninspiring A's offense on June 3 in Chicago.
