Never mind the loss. Billingsley has blossomed into the Dodgers ace, both in terms of stuff and durability. He's lasted six-plus innings in all 11 starts this season while racking up more than one strikeout per inning (76 Ks in 74 IP).

Chad Billingsley pitched very well on Friday, but took a tough luck loss as the Dodger offense failed to show up. He allowed just two runs on eight hits and two walks over seven innings and struck out seven, but was handed his third loss of the season as the Dodgers fell to the Cubs 2-1.
Our View: Billingsley has been very good all season long, but has his a bit of a cold stretch in his last three outings. Still, even when he's off he's better than average. He has only failed to record a quality start one time this season and is one of the top fantasy options at starter in all of baseball. His 6-3 record and 2.80 ERA will attest to that.
