"He came in and felt somewhat dehydrated," Mets manager Jerry Manuel said. "It's about a three-day thing right now. Hopefully this will be the last of it." Beltran's condition reached its nadir during Saturday's game, when Manuel spotted him on the clubhouse floor trying to find relief. In the fifth inning, Beltran left the game. Manuel said it was unlikely that Beltran -- who is leading the Mets in average, runs, home runs and RBIs -- would be available to pinch-hit.
