Brian Moehler got hit hard again on Wednesday, this time allowing seven runs in 4.1 innings, as the Astros lost 10-3 in Philadelphia.
Our View: Assuming Wednesday was Moehler's final start of the season, it capped a very inglorious year for the aging righty. He will finish with a record of 8-12 in 29 starts, while sporting an ERA of 5.47. He threw just eight quality starts all season.

Astros exercised RHP Brian Moehler's 2010 option worth $3 million. Moehler, a 37-year-old right-hander, went 8-12 with a 5.47 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in 29 starts this season with the Astros. He averaged only 5 1/3 innings per outing over the course of the season, and struggled mightily down the stretch. He should be avoided in nearly every fantasy draft next spring.
