Ryan Braun played six innings in left field and batted third for the Brewers in their win over the Mariners on Monday, according to MLB.com. He had been limited over the previous week due to a rib injury, but he feels that he is ready to begin the season. He was 0-for-3 a day after hitting a home run off of Brian Fuentes in a minor league game.
Our View: He will play again on Tuesday and should be available throughout the entire week. The muscle is still a little tight, but he seems to be dealing with it. Keep an eye on his notes for the remainder of the week as any setback would be a red flag.
