Athletics | Anderson named AL Rookie of the Month
The Sports Network reports Oakland Athletics SP Brett Anderson was named the American League Rookie of the Month for the month of September. He went 4-0 with a 2.28 ERA in four starts during the month. He also gave up just 22 hits and three walks while striking out 26 in 23 2/3 innings.
