Jhonny Peralta may have to consider a move to third base for next season according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. "In my exit meeting with Mark Shapiro and Eric Wedge, they told me they're trying to find another infielder," Peralta said on Monday. "They don't know if it's going to be a second baseman or a third baseman." If it's a second baseman, Asdrubal Cabrera is expected to move to short with Peralta moving to third.Peralta excelled after being moved to the cleanup spot. In 84 games as the No. 4 hitter, he hit .300 with 12 home runs, 58 RBI and 63 runs scored. He has been the Indians' shortstop for the past three seasons.

The Associated Press reports Cleveland Indians SP Fausto Carmona was suspended six games and C Victor Martinez and 2B Asdrubal Cabrera were each suspended three games for their role in an altercation Friday, Sept. 19. Carmona and Martinez are scheduled to begin serving their suspensions Monday, Sept. 22, while Cabrera's penalty is set to start Thursday, Sept. 25. All three players were also fined an undisclosed amount of money.

Asdrubal Cabrera has been suspended three games for his part in the Tigers-Indians brawl last Friday, according to the Associated Press. Cabrera's penalty is set to start on Thursday, though it is unclear if he will appeal the ruling.Cabrera is hitting .413 in 63 September at-bats with a 1.032 OPS, so his loss is clearly a pretty big blow to fantasy squads. The only hope is that he will appeal the ruling and serve it at the start of next season, but that seems rather unlikely.

Indians catcher Victor Martinez and infielder Asdrubal Cabrera were suspended for three games each and fined an undisclosed amount.
