News: Cubs 3B Aramis Ramirez thinks the world should know the names of all 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. He thinks the players who didn't use them deserve to have their names cleared, including himself. "It is different now. Back then, people say it was the culture. It wasn't," Ramirez said. "Not everybody used it. I didn't do it. I know a lot of guys I'm pretty sure never done it. Whoever did it, they took that choice and they did it, but not everybody did it." [...]

Carrie Muskat, of MLB.com, reports Chicago Cubs 1B Derrek Lee and 3B Aramis Ramirez have both decided to skip the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Lee was on the United States' provisional roster and Ramirez was scheduled to play for the Dominican Republic.

Paul Sullivan, of The Chicago Tribune, reports Chicago Cubs 3B Aramis Ramirez wants all 104 players who tested positive for steroids in 2003 to be made public. "I think so, because (if not) then everybody is going to be looking over your shoulder, saying, 'They might have did it, they might have did it,'" Ramirez said. "Let's just get it over with." Ramirez also said that he has never used performance-enhancing drugs.
