Marc Lancaster, of The Tampa Tribune, reports the Colorado Rockies could be involved in a three-team trade that would send 3B Garrett Atkins to the Minnesota Twins and either Tampa Bay Rays SP Andy Sonnanstine or SP Edwin Jackson to the Rockies, according to ESPN's Jayson Stark. The Twins would be sending OF Delmon Young to the Rays.

Marc Lancaster, of The Tampa Tribune, reports the Tampa Bay Rays may have a trading partner in the St. Louis Cardinals, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The Cardinals are willing to trade an outfielder and the Rays are willing to part with SP's Edwin Jackson and Andy Sonnanstine. The Rays would likely be interested in acquiring either OFs Ryan Ludwick or Rick Ankiel.

ESPN.com is reporting that the Rays are talking to the Twins about a deal that would bring outfielder Delmon Young back to the Rays. Tampa Bay likely would deal away either Andy Sonnanstine or Edwin Jackson. But the trade could also involve a third team, because the Twins aren't looking to add starting pitching.The Giants, Rockies and Phillies have also expressed interest making it seem unlikely that Young returns to the Twins next season. The Twins would like to add an infielder in return for the enigmatic outfielder.
