Andy Sonnanstine got roughed up by the Indians on Wednesday as the Rays fell to the Indians 12-7. Sonnanstine went three innings and allowed eight runs on nine hits while walking two and striking out three.
Our View: Sonnanstine has not been great this season, and his 2008 season is starting to feel like a long time ago. His fantasy value is very low right now, and he is a risky play every time he toes the rubber at this point.

Ben Francisco had a huge night for the Indians on Wednesday in their 12-7 win over the Rays. Francisco went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored, and four RBI.
Our View: Francisco would be an excellent fantasy player if he could face Andy Sonnanstine every night, as he has absolutely torched the Rays pitcher over his career. Francisco is an astounding 8-for-9 with a double, five home runs, and 12 RBI in his career against the Rays starter. Since he doesn't face Sonnanstine every time out, his fantasy value is fairly nonexistent as he is not an everyday player.
